I’m going to let Wednesday’s Storm dry then sign it.
Wednesdays Storm is almost done
Wednesday Storm coming out of the Red Rocks.
The start of “Wednesday’s Storm” It’s starting to take the shape of what the storm looked like as it came towards the house. Oil Painting on Canvas 24″ x 18″
The reference photo take down my street. We got some rain out of it.
I like how the curves play off each other.
I had a lot of fun painting with Gouache. I’ve always used it as Watercolor. Pat Dolan taught how to use it as pure opaque color mixed with water. We used only the primary colors plus black and white. It was fun to get way from oil painting. I could not get it flow like my oils and they dry fast. I’ve all ways enjoy getting out of my comfort zone. Thing I learned was I was better using a Chinese brush not that small brush. Thank you Pat Dolan she is a great teacher at the Drawing Studio in Tucson Arizona
Head down to Tucson to do some Art with my Sisters. I will post the fabulous work.
